From his early years in Sicily to establishing a respected masonry company in America, Baldo has carried forward the values that shaped him. My Story
Baldo is the proud founder and active owner of Cornerstone Masonry, and the cornerstone of a family legacy built on craftsmanship and hard work. His story begins long before the company was established—rooted in the example set by his father, who spent his entire life working in the masonry trade. Growing up in Sicily, Baldo was surrounded by old-world stonework and the values of dedication, skill, and pride in one’s craft.
In 1977, at just 9 years old, Baldo migrated from Sicily to America, carrying with him the traditions and work ethic passed down through generations. A decade later, in 1987, he began his journey in the masonry industry, quickly earning a reputation for precision, integrity, and uncompromising quality. With a vision to build something lasting, he founded Cornerstone Masonry in 1994, laying the groundwork for what would become a trusted and respected family business.
Today, Baldo continues to lead the company alongside his three sons, who have all followed in his footsteps. Each son brings his own skills, perspective, and dedication to the team, strengthening the family tradition and ensuring that the craft and values passed down through generations remain at the heart of every project.
